感謝各位校長的信任，給我機會帶領五所小學聯登合歡山。
Thank you all principals for your trust and giving me the opportunity to lead five primary schools to hiking to Hehuan Mountain.
剛好遇到颱風在南台灣攪局，我們趁著一早風雲尚未抵達的半天的機會，從昆陽出發，經過合歡南峰沿著稜線往合歡主峰邁進。
It has a typhoon was in southern Taiwan. We has the opportunity to hiking in the half a day this morning before the wind and clouds coming.
接近主峰前不到兩百公尺左右，烏雲覆蓋主峰頂，陣雨已漸漸變大，看著一些同學的裝備簡陋，有的學生體力不佳，隊伍拖延極長。我毅然決然宣布撤退...雖然許多師生還意猶未盡。
About two hundred meters from the top of the mountain, I announced my retreat because of the gradual become seriously wind and rain, also because some children lack physical strength and poorly equipped.
撤退也是一種學習，不用因為撤退就否定自己踏出的這步挑戰。我告訴他們登山是團隊活動，必須考量其他同學、隊友們是否還能負荷。
"Retreat" is also a kind of learning. Mountaineering is a team activity, and we must consider the safety of every member. Hope the children can understand and think about this journey.
孩子們，真的很棒！為了這趟旅程做足了體訓了和準備。希望這整個過程，能帶給他們課本外的思考體悟。
